Study in Singapore


It is possible to study at a Singapore University. Candidates must have completed High School level. It is sufficient to produce an A Level qualification or its equivalent. No letter of recommendation is required. Students with English as a Second Language have to pass a Qualifying English Test (QET) end of June each year.

Annual tuition fees range from S$ 5,500 to S$ 39,000. Under The Tuition Grant Bond fees may be subsidized with the obligation for the international student to work for three years (Medical and Dental courses 5 years) in Singapore. Some local institutions offer MBA's BA's and MA's from British and Australian Universities. Check local bachelors, masters and diplomas for international and your homes county's recognition.


The Academic year starts in July and ends in April of the following year. If you are above 25 years old you need to attend an interview. The courses available last between 3-5 years.

The Singapore Tourism Board runs a center to provide data on schools, courses and information on studying and living in Singapore including housing options or how to apply for a student pass, and will organises orientation tours and social activities.

MBA Programs Singapore


MBA degrees are either classroom-based or Web based or a combination of the two. Most are part-time. Cost vary between S$ 15,000 and S$ 75,000 and the average completion time runs from 12 to 30 months. Entrance requirements are mostly a combination of a degree plus 2-5 years experience. Class time is at daytime or evenings or on weekends.

Most MBA programs require a bachelor's degree and a good score for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and a minimum of two to three uears working experience. Executive MBA courses require five to eight years after graduation. See below websites for further information.
